TMA Council

TMA COUNCIL FOCUS

The TMA Council of the Association for Commuter Transportation is North America's most respected association for professionals who manage or serve transportation management associations (TMAs).  The Council addresses and shares information related to TMAs, including public-private partnerships, governance issues, marketing issues, contracting issues, employer outreach, and the broad range of TDM services and programs to reduce congestion and improve air quality.

The Council contributes information to ACT?s journal TDM Review, sponsors periodic conference calls, and holds meetings and special sessions during the ACT International Conference.  The biennial TMA Summit has focused upon specific issues for TMAs.  In addition, the TMA Council helped develop the TMA Handbook, an ACT publication.

TMA COUNCIL PARTICIPANTS

TMA Council members represent a diverse cross-section of private-sector business and public-sector organizations who develop or manage TMAs across the country.  TMA executive directors, program staff, Board members, market research organizations, transportation service providers, and public agencies interact to share information or develop tools that help TMAs address local issues most effectively.
