The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) is the premier association for professionals and orgainzations focused on transportation demand management (TDM) - mitgating traffic congestion, increasing mobiltiy and improving air quality.


Members include employers, transportation management associations, nonprofits, government agencies, universities and students. Membership in ACT provides you with the resources of an international organization and the support of a regional affilliate of experienced Transportation Demand Management (TDM) professionals. Connecting to Policy Makers Representation by active government relations specialists in Washington, D.C., who educate legislators and policy makers to promote and support national policies on transportation commute options. Access to state and local officials through a network of 12 chapters, plus partnerships with state transportation, planning and air quality officials. An annual Washington, D.C. meeting that combines ACT membership and board meetings with visits to Congress and key partner agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
