REDWOOD CITY, CA – Jessica Alba, Transportation Policy Manager at Stanford University, was awarded the TDM Champion President’s Award at the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) Virtual International Conference on August 5, 2020. Selected by ACT President Connie McGee, the TDM Champion Award recognizes a member who has made significant contributions to the industry and profession and have demonstrated commitment and dedication through leadership on the local and/or national level.
“For the past 18 months, Jessica has taken on one of the most important roles in this association as Chair of the Certification Board of Trustees,” said Connie McGee, ACT President. “With her leadership, ACT is on the brink of bringing a new level of professionalism to TDM. Jessica has provided great leadership to the Certification Board of Trustees, keeping the group focused on the goal of launching the TDM-CP exam, a goal of ACT’s since the start of the organization 35 years ago.”
“Jessica has been a strong leader in ACT’s policy initiatives, serving on the Public Policy Committee and working to advance ACT’s federal legislation to bring greater support to TDM across the country,” said McGee. “I am thrilled to name her this year’s TDM Champion.”
