SEATTLE, WA – Kelly Hostetler, Director of Marketing at Luum, was awarded the President’s Award for Emerging Leader at the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) National Awards sponsored by Luum and held during the ACT Virtual International Conference on August 5, 2020. Selected by ACT President Connie McGee, the Emerging Leader Award recognizes a young professional within the ACT membership that has made significant contributions to the association and has demonstrated the potential for long-term leadership and service to the industry.
“After joining ACT in 2018, Kelly quickly moved into leadership roles, becoming President of the Cascade Chapter in 2019 and being selected into the 2020 ImpACT leadership class,” said Connie McGee, ACT President. “Under Kelly’s leadership, the Cascade Chapter has become one of our most successful chapters, adding 30 new members over the past year and hosting several networking opportunities and activities around the 2019 TDM Forum in Seattle. I am honored to recognize Kelly’s outstanding leadership by awarding her the 2020 Emerging Leader Award.”
“Kelly has been a valuable addition to the ACT Community, demonstrating her initiative to provide Cascade Chapter members with increased opportunities to meet, network, and share best practices,” continued McGee. “With her determination and commitment to ACT’s mission, we are excited to see what Kelly accomplishes next.”
The Greater Madison MPO in Madison, Wisconsin, recently rebranded its TDM program to “RoundTrip,” pairing a fresh look with a new website and digital emergency ride home vouchers to increase awareness and participation.
