2019 ACT National Work Plan

Each year, ACT’s Board adopts an Annual Work Plan designed to advance the organization towards the successful implementation of its 5-Year Strategic Plan.  The following provides a high-level summary of focus areas, projects, and goals for 2021.
  • Be the premier organization for TDM professionals
    • Grow ACT membership
    • Retain high percent of existing ACT member organizations
    • Achieve member satisfaction rating of 90%
    • Increase involvement and representation of ACT’s leadership
    • Strengthen ACT’s financial security
  • Develop highly valued programs and services for all members
    • Build an active online membership community
    • Grow TDM-CP program
    • Develop new ImpACT! Leadership program structure for 2022
    • Launch new PALs online mentoring program
  • Host the TDM industry’s best events
    • Host successful International Conference
    • Host successful TDM Forum
    • Increase online learning and networking
    • Develop new employer-focused summit
    • Strengthen sponsor program to exceed budgeted targets
  • Create strong communities of TDM professionals
    • Adopt new structure for domestic and international chapters
    • Ensure chapters are delivering value to members
    • Achieve an increase in member involvement and satisfaction with councils
    • Develop new program to attract and engage senior leaders
    • Ensure communities are high functioning and advancing their purposes
  • Be the leading voice for TDM
    • Influence the passage of TDM supportive policies at the Federal level
    • Increase member and stakeholder interactions with ACT content
    • Increase awareness of ACT & TDM among members & stakeholders
    • Increase role of the Center for TDM
