ACT's MORE Through TDM Legislation

In April 2019, ACT announced legislation focused on solidifying the importance and support of TDM as a key strategy for federal transportation policy. The legislation outlines the importance of TDM and establishes requirements for regions to develop TDM plans - overseen by advisory committees, including representatives from the public and private sector - to address a region's congestion and mobility issues. The legislation would establish a new funding in the amount of $100 million/year to support the implementation of the TDM plans. This legislation is titled the "Mobility Options, Resiliency, and Efficiency (MORE) through Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Act" or "MORE through TDM Act."

UPDATE - ACT's MORE Through TDM legislation has been introduced in the House of Representatives with Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-IL) as the lead sponsor with Reps. Steve Cohen (D-TN) and Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) as cosponsors.  Now we need your help to urge your lawmakers to support this bill.  Please take a few moments to reach out to your member of Congress with the below template.
