ACT PAC

The ACT PAC is a non-partisan political action committee established to support and elect candidates for federal office, supportive of the use of Transportation Demand Management strategies that create an efficient, multi-modal transportation system that moves all people.
ACT PAC is a separate, segregated fund, established by ACT.

Why does ACT have a PAC?

A PAC provides ACT with a powerful tool for supporting candidates aligned with ACT’s mission and policy agenda, as well as an opportunity for ACT to engage our members in our advocacy efforts.  As we aim to be the leading voice for TDM, a PAC enables the organization to directly support candidates that are supportive of our efforts and interests.  Funded by your personal voluntary contributions, ACT PAC is a powerful way for us to help elected leaders and candidates understand our issues and needs.

Who can participate in ACT PAC?

ACT PAC can solicit contributions from all members of the Association for Commuter Transportation.  This includes individuals inheriting their membership through their employer, self-employed members, retiree members, and student members.  Voluntary contributions should be made using personal credit cards or checks.

Voluntary contributions from other federal PACs are also permissible.

Contributions from corporations or associations cannot be accepted.  Contributions to ACT PAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact actpac@actweb.org
