Professional Bio

Nate Frisbie-Krogh is a transportation and mobility professional focused on helping people and organizations adopt smarter, more sustainable ways of getting to work. As a Commuter Programs Specialist with Metro Transit at the Metropolitan Council, Nate works at the intersection of technology, outreach, and regional transportation strategy to expand access to alternative commuting options across the Twin Cities.

In his role, Nate supports programs that reduce single-occupancy vehicle trips and improve regional mobility, including ridematching, vanpool, and employer-based commuting initiatives. He works closely with employers, property managers, and community partners to connect people with tools and incentives that make sustainable commuting easier and more practical.

Nate also plays a leadership role in the broader commuter transportation field. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Technology & Innovation Council for the Association for Commuter Transportation, where he helps guide conversations about how emerging tools, data, and platforms can improve transportation demand management programs nationwide.

With a professional background spanning education, community outreach, program management/operations, and technology systems, Nate is particularly skilled at translating complex tools and transportation concepts into practical solutions that organizations and commuters can actually use. His work focuses on improving user experience, increasing program participation, and helping regions meet sustainability and mobility goals.

Based in Minnesota, Nate is passionate about building transportation systems that are accessible, efficient, and people-centered—making it easier for communities to thrive while reducing environmental impact.
