Mary is a skilled project manager and an enthusiastic leader. As the data storytelling member of the competitive grants team, Mary has helped WTA secure over $40 Million in state and federal funding for low and no emissions buses, technology upgrades, and innovative pilot projects. With a background in Environmental Science and a passion for sustainability, Mary led a multi-departmental project team at WTA and authored the agency’s first Sustainability Plan in 2023. She is proud to be the recipient of the 2024 Association of Commuter Transportation (ACT) “Employee Transportation Champion” award. A firm believer in practicing what you preach, Mary bikes or rides the bus to work daily.

Melody is a Sr. Program Manager in Commute Strategy & Operations at Genentech, a biotech company headquartered in South San Francisco, CA. Her work with gRide, Genentech's transportation team, focuses on increasing access to commuter programs and services for both local and offsite employees, external partner companies, and property owners in the Oyster Point Business District. gRide champions sustainability through its award-winning bus operations, fleet electrification initiatives, commuter reimbursement and incentive programs, and cross-company resource sharing.
