Carpool Action Summit Initiatives & Next Steps

The Carpool Action Summit was highly productive, with attendees proposing dozens of initiatives to help increase carpooling. The release of State of Carpooling 2026: Global Trends, Case Studies, and Implications gave participants a deeper understanding of the elements that contribute to high-performing carpool programs, introduced a new Diagnostic Carpool Framework to help TDM managers strengthen their programs and achieve greater impact, and identified opportunities for further action by ACT. 

The Carpool Council wants to build on this momentum by identifying and advancing priority short- and long-term initiatives to increase carpooling. Join us for an interactive discussion to review and prioritize a set of proposed initiatives developed from the Summit's outcomes.
