Join us for out October Red River Chapter meeting on October 29th. After chapter business, go behind the match with transportation leaders from Houston TranStar, H-GAC/Commute Solutions, and NCTCOG. They will share candid lessons from moving fans and commuters during the FIFA World Cup in Texas, including what worked, what didn't, and what should become standard practice.

The final whistle has blown on the FIFA World Cup in Texas. Now it's time to look at what happened behind the scenes. Join us for a candid post-match review of how transportation professionals moved fans, commuters, and freight across some of the nation's busiest regions.

Our panelists will share what worked, what surprised them, and what they would do differently:

  • Catherine Gray, H-GAC/Commute Solutions, contributor to the award-winning Commute Gameplan, on how employer outreach and commuter messaging helped shift travel habits during match weeks.
  • Joshua Shideler, Houston TranStar, on real-time operations and multi-agency coordination when match-day conditions changed fast.
  • Karla Windsor, NCTCOG, on regional planning and coordination across cities in north Texas.
