Transforming a Region through Children's Transportation: TravelSmart4Kids Strategy
TransLink has created the TravelSmart4Kids Strategy, a sustainable transportation strategy for children 12 and under to enable more children to travel by active and sustainable modes of transportation.
The innovative Strategy seeks to create a culture and region that is safe and healthy for children, creating life-long sustainable travel habits and shifting behavior early. The Strategy follows a clear vision and 56 actions with built-in monitoring and evaluation. This webinar will explain the value of a Children's Transportation Strategy, how collaboration makes it possible, and the impacts in the last two years since the Strategy launch.
Speakers include:
- Molly Barkowsky, Regional Coordinator for Children’s Active Travel, TransLink
