This professional development series is designed to support the growth of TDM professionals working in complex, high-pressure, and evolving environments. Based on feedback from our Professional Development survey, leadership skill-building emerged as a key need across career stages — and this series responds directly to that input.

Across four interactive webinars, participants will build practical, human-centered skills for managing energy and workload, navigating uncertainty and change, thinking creatively under constraints, and communicating effectively across roles and power dynamics. Each session focuses on real-world application and provides tools participants can use immediately. Webinars can be taken individually or as a cohesive series that supports sustainable performance and leadership growth over time.

Session 1: Managing Energy, Not Just Time - Thursday, April 30

Free to members, $100 for non-members

This session explores why managing energy is often more effective than managing time. Participants will reflect on how attention, cognitive load, and work rhythms affect their ability to perform, collaborate, and make decisions.

Participants will:

- Explore how energy, focus, and workload shape performance and decision making
- Identify patterns that drain or sustain their energy during demanding work
- Consider practical ways to structure work, meetings, and collaboration to support sustained effectiveness

Session 2: Thriving Through Uncertainty: Staying Grounded in Change - Thursday, June 4

Free to members, $100 for non-members

Periods of uncertainty require leaders and professionals to stay grounded while navigating ambiguity and shifting conditions. This session explores how people can remain steady, adaptive, and thoughtful when circumstances change unexpectedly.

Participants will:

- Reflect on common reactions to uncertainty and how they influence decision making
- Explore approaches for staying grounded and focused during periods of change
- Identify ways to support resilience and steadiness in themselves and others

Session 3: Reframing Problems: A Practical Guide to Creative Thinking - Thursday, September 10

How a problem is framed often determines the kinds of solutions people see. This session focuses on practical approaches for stepping back, looking at challenges from new perspectives, and expanding the range of possible solutions.
