Patti Sistrunk

Patti is a project manager working on Safe Routes to School (SRTS) and active transportation projects that focus on infrastructure improvements, engagement, education, events, planning, and policy change. Patti has a combination of public and private sector experience including work at the South Carolina Department of Transportation, AECOM (and legacy company URS) and now at Toole Design. She has managed multiple SRTS statewide programs and has led and collaborated on local and regional safety, school-focused, and community-driven transportation efforts. Patti’s experience includes more than 20 years in community engagement and coordination, SRTS planning, evaluation and data analysis, resource development, bicycle and pedestrian education and materials development, and outreach marketing. Patti previously earned the TDM-CP in 2021.

Patti lives on Georgia’s coast where she’s also a founding board member of Bike Walk Golden Isles, a bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organization based in Brunswick, Georgia.
