Using Social Marketing with Social Media - VIRTUAL

Getting your TDM message out to the right people can be challenging! As TDM professionals, social marketing and social media can feel “out of our comfort zone.” This workshop is designed to help break down how to use data to pinpoint your target audience, what the types of platforms and social media campaigns are and what they can do, and how to create a message that promotes behavior change.

The next regional/hybrid Chesapeake Chapter event will be hosted by Clark Communications at their offices in Rockville, MD – with a hybrid option. This interactive workshop for the Chesapeake Chapter will feature Necole Jackson and Jennifer Waldow, Marketing and Communication Specialists with Clark Communications, as well as Jonathan Nevius, Marketing Coordinator with Wells + Associates.

Necole and Jennifer will highlight how Clark Communications works with their clients to build an understanding of social marketing and social media terminology to create strong messaging. They will help workshop participants build an understanding of the social media platforms, types of ads, and social media terminology that will look at a target audience for TDM programs and create social media campaigns that help promote behavior change.  

Jonathan will showcase Wells + Associates’ data-driven and micro-targeted approach to TDM marketing. Jonathan will discuss how strong data, whether it be client-provided or gathered through survey efforts and occasional questionnaires, can improve social marketing campaigns and drive behavior change in residential communities and workplaces.
