Agile Mile Named ACT’s First-Ever Community Sponsor
The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) is excited to announce a new initiative: the ACT Community Sponsor program.
The idea for this program was proposed by Agile Mile, Inc., a long-time ACT Corporate Partner sponsor. Designed as an annual sponsorship, the program will support local nonprofit organizations in the cities where ACT hosts its major events.
Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs help individuals make smarter travel choices - like saving money by carpooling, improving health by biking to work, or gaining flexibility through remote work. These personal benefits ripple outward, creating stronger, more connected communities.
That’s the inspiration behind the Community Sponsor program: to celebrate and support organizations working at the local level to improve people’s lives - often in ways that align with the goals of TDM.
We’re thrilled to welcome Agile Mile, Inc. as our inaugural Community Sponsor. Agile Mile provides regional TDM software for improving mobility and commuter transportation, powering programs across the US. Agile Mile is dedicated to making commuting and travel easier, smarter, and more efficient - making them a natural partner in this effort to give back.
Through this partnership, ACT will make donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in New Orleans, host of the 2025 International Conference, and Portland, OR for the TDM Forum. The selected nonprofits will be announced at each event.
