Spring Into TDM 2025 Highlights
Last week brought three of the five Spring Into TDM events for 2025. Led by the Midwest, Northern California, and Red River Chapters, these gatherings brought hundreds of professionals together for unique learning and network opportunities. If you were with us in Minnesota, California, or Texas last week, thank you for joining! If not, check out some of the highlights from the programming below.

The Inaugural Midwest TDM Summit
Held on Wednesday, April 16, this summit kicked off the slate of programming for 2025. It brought nearly 100 attendees to UMN's campus for a day-long event with special spotlights, panels, and breakout sessions. Highlights include:
- A morning panel about Minnesota TDM
- Breakout rooms about What TDM Can Do and How to Fund TDM
- A lunch lecture from Dr. Yingling Fan, PhD about Measuring Impact of TDM Strategies with Research and Evaluation
- Afternoon discussions allowing participants to 'choose their own TDM adventure'
- Tours via transit, walking, bikes, and scooters
- And a fun social hour for attendees to network, exchange insights, and chat about the day

The NorCal TDM Summit
Next, on Thursday, April 17, the Northern California Chapter hosted the second event at Stanford University. Following the success of last year's West Coast Regional TDM Summit, this one-day programming gathered more than 100 professionals from the region.
Highlights include:
- A keynote panel titled 'All Aboard: A Fireside Chat on the Tracks of Innovation'
- Sessions about microtransit, vanpool, micromobility, large-scale event planning, and target marketing
- A closing reception featuring light bites and networking

The Commuter Blueprint
On Thursday and Friday, the Red River Chapter hosted a two-day program in Arlington, TX focused on shaping tomorrow's mobility. With exciting tours, panels, workshops, and more, this event was full of collaboration and hands-on learning.
Highlights include:
- A keynote from Caroline Mays, AICP about the Statewide Multimodal Transit Plan (SMTP)
- Interactive workshops about HOV lanes, transit-oriented development and parking management, and sustainable mobility
- A panel about the future of rail mobility
- Afternoon workshops about air taxis and existing transportation networks as well as Texas event-based TDM
