Meet Sarah 

Sarah Iannarone (she/her) is Executive Director of The Street Trust, Oregon’s leading nonprofit advancing safe, accessible, and equitable transportation options. With over 15 years of experience in urban policy and planning, she leads efforts to expand access to walking, rolling, biking, transit, and e-mobility, especially in underserved communities.

Sarah is a core founding member of the Move Oregon Forward campaign and the Oregon Micromobility Network, and serves in multiple leadership roles including the Transportation Policy Alternatives Committee (TPAC) and TDM Strategy Technical Work Group at Metro. She also chairs the State of Oregon’s Jurisdictional Transfer Advisory Committee (JTAC). A former small business owner and internationally recognized policy exchange leader, she has advised urban leaders across the U.S., Brazil, China, South Korea, and Canada on sustainable urban development strategies. She is known for turning complex transportation challenges into innovative, people-centered solutions.
