ACT Submits Comments on FAA Reauthorization

Posted By: David Straus General News, Letters & Comments, Public Policy,

Like Transportation Authorization, Federal Aviation Administration Rauthorization must be passed on average every 5 years.  The bill includes important legislative changes related to the financing and development of airport capital projects and workforce development issues.

ACT believes there are opportunities through the FAA Reauthorization to encourage airports to take on greater responsibility for how passengers and airport workers access airport facilities, and that they should support the deployment of TDM strategies to improve access and reduce airport related carbon emissions.

We encourage ACT members to share our comments and suggested language with their Members of Congress.
