Deputy Project Manager
AECOM’s Transportation Demand Management (TDM) group is seeking a proven Club Ride Deputy Project Manager to assist with the leadership of the Regional Transportation Commission’s (RTC) Club Ride Commuter Services program. Club Ride works with employers, commuters, and other stakeholders to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles on Clark County roads.
This position is expected to begin in April 2023.
AECOM is responsible for the comprehensive management of Club Ride. This includes an outreach team responsible for developing community relationships and maintaining a network of employer partners that implement worksite-based commute options programs. It also includes the oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of subconsultants that fulfill regional marketing and communications along with specialized strategies to expand the program’s reach and impact.
The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) supports the overall project delivery effort fulfilling reporting tasks, regional promotions and events execution, budget tracking, team management and development. In this position, you support the Project Manager at the operational level, tracking deadlines to ensure the timely delivery of the different projects and tasks.
The DPM supports the Outreach Team directly by planning and implementing core program elements that reinforce the team’s ability to engage employer partners and commuter participants in Club Ride programs and services. These include regional events and promotions, education/networking events for employer partners and the business community, building partnerships with community/service organizations, attending community-based events, leading specialized outreach initiatives, coordinating outreach training and meetings, and coordinating initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Performs a range of transportation demand management, marketing, outreach and operational tasks aimed at enhancing opportunities for individual travelers and commuters to utilize non-drive-alone means of transportation, including carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, walking, teleworking, and working a compressed work week.
Support the Project Manager in developing strategic plans to grow engagement and membership; testing new ideas and concepts to support existing and new members
Assist in the management of projects from inception through completion
Identify opportunities and propose strategic initiatives to grow the program membership based on your understanding of local market trends
Develop and track project milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery
Monitor, measure, and report on the team effectiveness
Coordinate activities and deliverables with the cross-functional team that includes outreach, marketing, technology, and operations.
Track and compile program data and outcomes to direct team activities, fulfill monthly reporting requirements and inform presentations to the client and stakeholders
Oversee the development of communications that authentically connect the members to the brand/program
Administer day-to-day operations including team scheduling, inventory management, program budget, surveys, goal tracking, and expense management
Build connections with Las Vegas business community and employers Act as a spokesperson for Club Ride with high energy and strong people skills
Monitor the execution of all branding, display, and activation elements at events and partner sites Provide direction and manage work quality of the outreach team
Oversee accurate reporting in our CRM tool - Salesforce Manage the flow and output of communication with the client, company, Club Ride partners, vendors, third parties Recruit, manage, develop, lead, inspire Outreach team
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree with four (4) yeas of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Due to the nature of this job, U.S. citizenship is required Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) + years of proven experience in managing teams.
Demonstrated success in executing logistical details, to include best practices, customer and employee needs, and short and long-term strategic plans.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Able to understand proposals and contract scope of services Able to accept and give performance feedback
Must be available to work outside our standard compressed work week when necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce
Ability to delegate assignments and determine methods and procedures
Self-motivated with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines with little or no supervision
Candidate with Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required
Ability to carry 50lbs+ and meet physical demands of the job
