How to pursue accreditation
1. Determine your organization's eligibility: TDM-AO status can be pursued by organizations including government agencies, transit authorities, TMA/TMOs, higher education institutions, and non-profit commuter service organizations. Questions about eligibility can be shared via the form above. Please note that this is a separate form than the intake form.
2. Complete the intake form: Share your interest with the Accreditation Committee and submit your $100 application fee. Once this is complete, you'll gain access to the application form.
3. Submit your application form: Upon receipt of the form, organizations have 12 months to complete and submit it. Completing the application requires time, effort, and potential participation from several staff members. When it's ready to submit, you'll send it in with an $800 payment.
4. Undergo peer review: The Accreditation Committee will thoroughly review your application. Further information or clarification may be requested during this time.
5. Celebrate your accreditation: If your accreditation status is approved, it's time to celebrate! You'll receive a certificate (digital and print) and additional promotional materials in honor of this significant achievement.
If not, you will be notified and the committee will work with you to make adjustments and resubmit your application. The intent is to work with applicants to get as many accredited as possible.
