Genentech opened their innovative and groundbreaking seven-acre electrified bus lot in December 2023. With over 112 electrified stalls and 74 stations, this bus lot comprises of 100% fast chargers and is powered by 3 transformers delivering 7.5 megawatts of energy. Full utilization of the lot avoids 4,737 metric tons of greenhouse gases per year which is equivalent to the CO2 emissions of over 1,000 gas vehicles and the electricity use of 900 homes. You are invited to tour the lot (and its many sustainable features) to learn more about this significant milestone in Genentech’s zero emissions roadmap.
