Event Details

As ACT continues to grow and strengthen its impact, it has created a streamlined set of chapter bylaws designed to ensure alignment across the organization while still allowing each chapter the flexibility to reflect its unique regional character and operational preferences. Chapter bylaws provide a standardized framework to ensure chapters stay in compliance; offer clear guidance to chapter leaders; and were designed with flexibility to allow chapters to create bylaws that best support local needs.

With that in mind, the Chesapeake Chapter leaders have drafted the new bylaws, and now need your help!

Please review the attached bylaws and be prepared to discuss the changes at our next full chapter membership meeting, November 20th at 12:30pm. The chapter will provide an opportunity to vote to approve the new bylaws virtually. The bylaw revisions provide structure for our Chapter and provide guidelines for our Chapter Board to adhere to in order to best serve our members.
