TDM Delegation to the UK: Mobility Solutions for Major Events and Venues
London, UK and Manchester, UK
ACT is pleased to announce an exciting member opportunity to join a delegation of TDM professionals from the United States to the United Kingdom from March 24-28, 2025. This delegation is being planned and coordinated in partnership with Modeshift, an organization supporting TDM professionals and organizations in the UK.
Why Attend?
This delegation trip will connect ACT members with world-class stadium facilities, event management organizations, transportation agencies, and public officials leading efforts to advance innovative mobility solutions for sporting events, concerts, and global celebrations.
Delegates will gain valuable insights to improve transportation options within their communities, whether you might be planning for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Olympic Games, major concerts and sporting events, or large-scale gatherings. Don’t miss this chance to bring back leading solutions for your future event transportation planning!
Participants will learn about and discuss strategies on:
- promoting multi-modal transportation options and TDM
- leveraging new technologies for trip planning and ridesharing
- Regional coordination and planning
- Role of permitting and local ordinances
- implementing effective marketing and communications
- Private sector engagement and coordination
Attendees will be encouraged to participate in post event presentations and updates to the broader ACT membership to ensure that information gathered is shared with others. This will include a full-track on special event planning at this year's TDM Forum in Portland, Oregon, in October.
Virtual Pre-Trip Meeting
Delegates are invited to attend a pre-trip meeting on March 14 at 2 p.m. (eastern). Details to follow.
Thank you to our event supporters and sponsors!
