TDM Week Brainstorming Session
Cascade Chapter
Tuesday, September 16 from 9 - 10 a.m. PT
For TDM Week, the Cascade Chapter board will lead a brainstorm session to identify revisions to state or province law that could strengthen TDM initiatives at regional and/or local levels.
Imagine you are having a conversation with a legislator who asks you about the obstacles you face as you engage in your TDM work. What would you tell them? What would you ask them to do to remove those obstacles? These are the questions we will answer during the brainstorm session.
Following the brainstorm session, the board will send letters to key elected officials ahead of their upcoming legislative sessions.

Interactive TDM Toolkit and Policy Workshop
Northern California Chapter
Join us for an interactive, half-day workshop to share best practices and policies among Bay Area transportation demand management (TDM) professionals.
Those of us working to mode shift from single-occupancy vehicles to sustainable transportation have programs, policies, information, rewards, tips, and tricks in our TDM toolkits. Let’s come together and share our tools, apply them in small groups to real-world examples, then reconvene and compare notes.
Attendees will leave with fresh new approaches for successful mode shift as well as policy ideas to grow the number of transportation management associations and TDM programs.
