Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Program Evaluation & Research
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is seeking proposals from firms or teams of firms experienced in providing program evaluation, data analysis, and research in the field of transportation demand management (TDM), or similar/related fields, for metropolitan areas comparable to the 20-county area of Metro Atlanta. This work is undertaken by Georgia Commute Options (GCO)1, which operates as the regional TDM brand, and six local Transportation Management Associations (TMA) operating within specific employment centers. The central goals of the program are increasing the use of travel modes other than single-occupant vehicles (SOV); spreading peak period congestion; reducing vehicle miles traveled (VMT); and reducing emissions throughout the region.
