First Time Attendee Reception & Opening Night
Sunday night is the official kick-off for #ACT23. It’s a great opportunity for new attendees to meet fellow colleagues and other new attendees.
Chapter Meetings
Fun fact: every member is a part of an ACT regional chapter. Chapters carry out ACT initiatives at a regional level and you can get started with your chapter in Seattle! Find your chapter, then check out the schedule for your conference chapter meeting.
Council Meetings
If you’re brand new to ACT, you may not know about councils. ACT councils provide expertise, thought leadership and networking for members in specific topic areas. As an ACT member, you can get involved in a council and can start right here in Seattle – just check the schedule. The six councils of ACT are:

It’s easy to get caught up and to forget the basics, here are a few quick tips:
- Bring your business cards – you never know who you’ll meet along the way!
- Visit the Exhibit Hall several times – no need to see every vendor in one visit; come back during each break to see more.
- Have fun and meet new people!
